인 디스 모먼트의 Whore 입니다. 제목이 좀 19금스럽긴 합니다만, 가사를 들어보면 좀 찐한 그냥 사랑 얘깁니다.

In This Moment는 2000년대 초에 결성된 밴드이고... 19금스러움을 살짝 넘나드는 비주얼과 한동안 유행했던 블랙/데스/고딕스러운 분위기를 조합한 듯한 음악을 하는 밴드인데...

올해 나이가 벌써 40을 훌쩍 넘기신 여성보컬 마리아 브링크의 매력이 돋보이는 밴드입니다. 이분은 미모나 몸매, 적절한 노출(!)로만 유명한 게 아니라 락보컬로써도 대단한 실력을 가진 분이죠. 밑에 링크된 Whore 말고 이 밴드의 다른 곡들을 들어보면 이분의 거칠게 긁어대는 멋진 락보컬을 감상하실 수 있습니다. 10대부터 싱글맘이었던 분이라... 어려운 개인적인 여건을 극복하고 몇십년째 꾸준히, 그리고 열심히 활동하는 멋진 분입니다. (역시 락은 스피릿!이죠.)

19금 냄새가 살짝 풍기는 뮤직비디오도 인상적인지만, 라이브에서는 마리아 누님의 매력이 폭팔하는 곡입니다. 오늘같이 날씨와 일이 함께 스트레스를 퍼붓는 날 찾아듣는 노래 중 하나이기도 합니다.
