록히드 마틴, F-35에 'AI 두뇌' 탑재... 미확인 적군 0.1초 만에 식별
F-35에 AI 칩을 탑재했더니 미확인 물체에 대한 식별을 바로 그 자리에서 했다고 합니다.
보통 DB에 없는 새로운 시그널은 기지 복귀후 분석 및 평가 등을 통해 분류되고 배포되서 시간이 오래 걸리는데,
AI 칩을 탑재했더니 이런거 뚝딱 해버린다고 하네요.
좀 무시무시한게, 작전도중 AI가 우군이나 민간 시그널을 위협타겟으로 분류해버리고 조종사는 그걸 그대로 믿어버린다면 무슨일이 일어날까 싶네요.
이 프로젝트는 정부 지원없이 록마 자체적인 예산으로 진행된 프로젝트라고 합니다.

읽어보니 비행중 미확인 신호는 AI판단으로 임시 라벨링 해주고, 지상에 돌아온 뒤에 수집된 신호의 분석과 라이브러리 업데이트를 별도의 시스템으로 빠르게 한다는 거군요.
AI 라벨링 보다는 신속 업데이트쪽이 더 강려크한거 같네요.
